Empowering girls for a brighter future in science.

THESIS PROJECT

We are stronger together.

Girls are natural scientists—curious, creative, and full of questions. But too often, outdated gender stereotypes tell them that science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) are not for them. This discouragement can limit their potential and hold back innovation.

NOVA is here to change that. Our mission is to spark a love for STEM in middle school girls by fostering confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging in scientific fields.

  • Inspire & Empower – We introduce girls to exciting STEM fields through engaging programs, hands-on experiments, and inspiring female role models.

  • Support & Educate – We provide teachers and parents with the tools to nurture a girl’s scientific curiosity, ensuring they receive encouragement free from gender bias.

  • Connect & Grow – We create a strong community where girls can bond over their passion for STEM, share experiences, and find mentorship from women who have paved the way.

With NOVA, young girls don’t just dream of becoming scientists—they become them.
